Scholarships

Economics majors may, of course, apply for any general scholarship that the university offers. There are, however, a number of scholarships which you are more likely to get if you are an economics major.

To learn more about our scholarships and how to apply, contact Dr. Robert Tatum at rtatum@unca.edu.

Scholarship Application

Applications for scholarship for the 2024-2025 year are being accepted now until 5pm, Monday, April 1, 2024. Complete the application here, or access the Scholarship Portal through OnePort, under Financial Aid & Payments.

Many of these scholarships and awards have been donated by our generous graduates. Alumni and friends of the Economics Department who wish to contribute should contact Dr. Robert Tatum at rtatum@unca.edu. Please note that students must complete a FAFSA to be eligible for any scholarship where financial need is a determining factor.
